Domain & Email Setup

Your Salty Carbs site works on any domain name. Here's how to connect yours, or get a new one, plus how to set up a professional email address.

Don't have a domain yet?

Pick one up from one of these registrars. Around $10 to $15 a year. Once you have it, come back and follow the DNS steps below to connect it.

Tip: stick with a .com. If your name is taken, try adding "massage" or your city.

Already have a domain? Connect it from your dashboard.

Connecting your own domain is now self-serve and takes about 5 minutes.

Connect your domain in three steps:
1. Open your Salty Carbs dashboard and find “Use your own domain.”
2. Enter your domain — we’ll show you the one DNS record to add at your registrar (a CNAME), with your registrar’s own words for each box, and email you a copy.
3. Add that record, and we issue your SSL certificate and put your site live on your domain automatically — usually within the hour, occasionally up to a day.

Stuck? Email [email protected] and we’ll connect it for you.

Email Support

Get a professional email address

A branded email like [email protected] builds trust with clients. Here are two solid options depending on your budget.

Connecting your email to your domain

Whichever service you choose, you'll add MX records to your domain's DNS settings. Both Google Workspace and Zoho walk you through this step by step during setup -- they'll show you exactly what to add and where.

Tip: Set up your email before pointing your domain to your Salty Carbs site. That way you can handle both DNS changes in one sitting.

If you run into trouble, email us at [email protected] and we'll help you sort it out.
